I bought this case as a gift to my family member, because I liked the design and because of the Samsung brand that should guarantee physical compatibility with the phone model. I read those negative reviews and although I usually consider negative reviews as deal breakers, I decided to ignore them this time. The case has been in use for several months now and the user is extremely satisfied with it, and I also think it is great. I can't explain the negative reviews. It fits the phone perfectly and the buttons work just like they should. Although it looks and feels like plastic by design, I don't find it appearing "cheap". I've had cases covered with faux leather that initially look luxurious, but when that surface wears a little, it looks trashy. The reason I most like about this case is the genius hole in front. Yes, it it just a plain hole, not any kind of window. Yes, it opens the phone class vulnerable to damage, but not so much that it would make real difference to how well the phone is still protected. The hole serves two purposes. It lets the phone show date and time, and some other information without opening the case. The view from window can be customized a little. My family member has a little bunny looking from there. It is both practical and appealing. The second purpose of the hole is that the case can be opened all the way to the back of the phone when using the camera, without blocking the lenses. It helps a lot holding the phone steady, which is important while shooting photos or video. Ordinary wallet cases block the lenses if opened like that, and using the camera is therefore a little awkward with them. Les mer

I've had a number of the official Samsung automatic wallet cases, the past one was for the Samsung S21. Therefore, I had no hesitation in ordering the latest addition official Samsung case for the new Samsung S24 model. However, this time i'm sorry to say I'm terribly disappointed. Feels and looks cheap, side mobile phone volume button doesn't work at all, double pressing side buttons for screen shot doesn't work, basically the mobile phone is unusable in this case. If I didn't kow better, I would swear this was a cheap copy and not a genuine Samsung case. Come on Samsung what are you playing at. Price up but quality dramatically down. Also on the previous Samsung cases the viewing windows were clear perspex. However, on this case it's just a cut out hole. Therefore the top righthand corner of the mobile phone screen is totally unprotected, so I struggle to understand how it can be advertised as providing 360 degree protection. A little more expensive than previous genuine Samsung cases, but based on previous experience I was initially happy to pay the price, but this case is by far the worst case Samsung have ever sold. Totally unacceptable in quality and practicality for the Samsung S24. Sorry Samsung but on this occasion returned for a full refund. Les mer
